Our artist study this afternoon on Wassily Kandinsky. He focused on abstract art. We were inspired by our book focus this week The Dot.

What makes you unique? The children used mirrors to draw them selves and wrote down qualities that make them unique. They then went onto colour the qualities in linking them to Zones of Regulation.

Learning whilst exploring. We love Forest School!

As part of our SEMH learning yesterday afternoon, the children were given a Blob classroom. They first identified which Blob they felt they were in their home school classroom and then coloured the Blobs in how they think they are feeling linking it to the Zones of Regulation.

We made some delicious pancakes today 😋. The children followed instructions to make the pancakes and enjoyed eating them after.

Science this afternoon- the focus was on gravity. The children were really engaged in this lesson and created some beautiful posters.

We had a great time at Forest School this morning.

For Geography, children have been thinking about the home they have, in the town they live in and the country they are proud to be part of.

Zones of Regulation fortune teller to help other children and adults with strategies for each zone.
