Also, from 25 June to 1 September 2026, the Government is temporarily cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on children's meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, and admission to a wide range of attractions. This is combined with free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England.

Monday 29th June is an INSET day for pupils but following on from the success of our 150th anniversary exhibition in April, we will be opening this again in the hall from 9am - 4.30pm. Photographs and memorabilia from school’s 150 years will be on display.

Our Wales 2 Wales triathlon will be raising funds for Sam's Army's Mission 1 Life.

After the tragic events over the bank holiday weekend we are very grateful to Simon Haycock, from Sam’s Army’s Mission 1 Life who came into school this week to talk to our Year 5 & 6 children raising their awareness of the dangers of swimming in open water.

The final total we have raised for the Sheffield Children’s Hospital is £3803!
The support from our school community has been overwhelming, thank you so much! The funds we have raised will support the A&E department.
The trail launches on Monday 8th June and our lion cub, Sesqui, will be located in Crystal Peaks. We hope you will enjoy following the trail.🐅🐅🐅🐅
