After the tragic events over the bank holiday weekend we are very grateful to Simon Haycock, from Sam’s Army’s Mission 1 Life who came into school this week to talk to our Year 5 & 6 children raising their awareness of the dangers of swimming in open water.

We have had a wonderful spring term!
Our fundraising efforts have raised over £3,500 for the Sheffield Children's Hospital!
Everyone in school has contributed to decorating our lion cub, Sesqui, she is now on her way to be part of the Pride of Yorkshire trail.
So much effort was put into World Book Day costumes, everyone on the catwalk looked amazing.
We have had another successful STEAM week, the experiments the children produced for the fair were so interesting.
We’ve enjoyed attending sports and dance events at Wales High School, we were so proud of our children.
The term has ended with the Easter Service at Wales Parish Church yesterday and today we have had a very special visit from the Easter bunny!
A big thank you to pupils, parents, staff, the PTFA and everyone within our school community, we hope you all have a relaxing and enjoyable Easter. 🐰🐣🌷🦁
