Three works in progress. First two (morning glory and hellebores) are watercolour on 600gsm Two Rivers handmade paper. Magnolia on Fabriano Artistico paper. Lots of work still to do.

They are for Morpeth Art Group fair/exhibition on Sunday 25th October in Whalton village hall.

What a brilliant sketching day Morpeth Art Group on FB had in Alnwick. Weather was good and Alnwick was busy.

Quite a few of us travelled by bus - it was like an old folks’ bus outing!🤣

We had coffee to start, then off out and about sketching various views.

Lunch at the Alno Lounge in Bondgate was great and staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Morpeth Art Group had a great day sketching in North Shields today. Lovely weather, chat, and an ice cream before heading home via the coast.

Another very enjoyable day sketching with Morpeth Art Group on FB. This time we ventured to the National Trust’s Wallington Hall.

Fortunately the rain stayed away so we were able to do a fair bit of sketching and wandering around the house and gardens.
