The morning after… slightly jaded but feeling on top of the world 💜 I gave up trying to post Si’s romantic marriage proposal because the video was 2 mins long but if you’d like to see it, you’ll find it on my FB profile. It was a beautiful moment I will remember forever, all the sweeter for the time it’s taken to reach this point. Only goes to show that what is meant for us will always come to us in perfect timing 💜

Taking a moment to appreciate the floral tributes at the Romsey bandstand this morning. Tried to read the beautiful cards but got too choked up. Our queen was simply one of the most incredible women to ever walk the earth. For me it was her resilience that resonated the most. She just got on with making whatever difference she could. I love that 💜

Super excited to have this gigglebox home from her travels today. Time to make the most of the last two weeks of the summer hols before SENIOR school starts…
How did that happen?! 🙄😂

The last 12 years have whizzed but as the big 50 looms for me I’m excited to see what joy my 6th decade will bring 💜

I thought twice about posting this pic when I noticed the cleavage because I’m not one to flaunt too much body in public!

But then I thought this… scroll away now if you don’t want to get up close and personal with me…

Every morning I look in the mirror at my body and feel blessed. My cleavage is testament to my good fortune. My body isn’t picture perfect but I love it. And I want to share this thought with you…

You can feel beautiful whenever you decide to. You just have to give yourself the respect you deserve. Your body is amazing, however it looks.

When you look in the mirror be careful what you wish for… for me it used to be uplifted b***s, but I never wanted implants, so I stayed dissatisfied.

But wishes come true - just not often in the way we expect them to. Never did I imagine it would be a breast cancer surgeon who would give me what I’d wanted so badly.

Be kind to yourself. Always think good thoughts about your shape and size because you are as perfect as you need to be.

If you want to make changes then make them, but love yourself as you go. Look after your incredible body and please… check your beautiful breasts!! 💜💜💜

There are some people in our world who are blessed with such incredible sentience that their wisdom can leave you speechless.

True emotional intelligence is a rare and special gift. There are times when it can feel arduous to be so sensitive to the feelings of those around you, but if you have this level of empathy, know that you are here to spread great love.

I feel so blessed and humbled to have such a wise daughter. At 23 her knowledge blows my mind.

As we talked today I realised something that felt deeply profound. That all the years of trying to make her think a certain way and believe a certain set of principles so that she would be okay, were completely unnecessary.

She was always going to find her path in a way that would knock the socks off anything I might have wished for her. How could I ever have thought that I could be her inner guidance? She was always going to be so much more than okay.

As parents we are nothing more than guides… Custodians for love. Our role is more simple than we think... To teach our children to connect with themselves. To listen to their intuition, to feel their feelings, to deeply understand their own needs and do whatever it takes to honour their own desires.

Thank you Georgie for choosing me. What an absolute honour it is 💜

Rounded off a fabulous trip with a drive along the coast to Mont-Saint-Michel followed by a quick whizz around St Peters Port, Guernsey today.

We’ve walked 80k in 6 days, danced in the street and laughed like little kids all week.

I have the most amazing travel companion who consoled me with a hug and shelled out for double hotel bookings with no complaints when I spectacularly cocked up the ferry bookings! 🙈 No judgement, just kind words 💜

My faux pas was lovely evidence that our mistakes can lead to much better outcomes than those we had originally planned… as long as we stay open to the possibility instead of beating ourselves up. What we ended up doing was even more lovely than it would have been 🤩💜
