On the menu today at playdays1 cookery class we have ……. Banana muffins 🍌🧁
As you can see, the children have been testing them out so we’re not sure you will get a chance to taste their creations 😋

Transitions into reception for our big guys!
Today we looked at school uniforms of our new schools, book bags and school dinner trays. We read a book on starting school; we talked about what we might be nervous about; and what we are excited about 🎉 such a big step, but you are all so ready 🎊

The Children enjoyed painting the feet of toy animals with paint, then pressed and moved them across paper to create prints. They observed the different shapes and marks each animal made, comparing sizes and patterns. The activity encouraged discussion about which animal made which track, and supported fine motor control through holding toys and brushes.
