Our First Netball Match! 🏐
Today, our Year 4 and 5 netball team played their very first match against Harold Wood Primary School.
For all of our players, this was their first experience of competitive netball - putting into practice the rules of the game, learning all seven positions, understanding boundaries and, most importantly, working together as a team.
Although the result didn't go our way, the children represented our school brilliantly. Their determination, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship were fantastic to see, and they produced some excellent passages of netball throughout the match.
To celebrate the end of a fantastic netball year, we enjoyed a lovely picnic in the park before heading back to school.
We are incredibly proud of every player and can't wait to continue developing the team next year. Well done, everyone! 💙💛
