Rush Green Pre-School We are a well established Preschool serving the community for the last 22 years. portage and the local authority early years team.

We welcome and support all families, working together to provide high quality care and an appealing environment for the children to learn and develop in. The staff at Rush Green Pre School encourage the children to develop skills, through play, that they will need in readiness for school, particularly social interaction and independence. In order to provide all the learning experiences that make u

p the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we base play and learning around different themes e.g minibeasts, people who helps us, all about me, transport etc. The EYFS comprises of the following 7 areas of learning and development:

* Personal, social and emotional development

*communication and language

*Physical development

*mathematics

*literacy

*Understanding the world

*Expressive arts and design

we are an inclusive preschool and work closely with other agencies such as health workers, speech and language specialists.

Today, we say goodbye to our lovely Kelly. She has been a part of the Pre-school family from 1996, first as a parent, then volunteer and finally joining the Pre-school team 26 years ago. She has seen so many children coming through the door and even returning grandchildren. Kelly has been a massive part of the Pre-school and has given every child the best start to their learning life and supported them every step of the way. We wish her all the best in her new role and will really miss her as part of the team. Good luck Kelly ###
