Dear parents and carers,
To highlight and raise awareness of the importance of children’s mental health, we will be taking part in a ‘Dress to Express’ fundraising day on Friday 9th February.
On this day, children can donate a suggested amount of £2 and express themselves by wearing their favourite colour, something that makes them happy, their favourite dress up outfit or costume or a whole unique outfit – anything that expresses who they are, how they feel or what they believe in.
Only this day, pupils will be permitted to wear face paint and nail varnish if they wish. Please ensure sensible footwear, as always, and no jewellery is worn, for health and safety reasons.
All monies raised will be donated to Place2Be, an organisation who provide children’s mental health services, including counselling and bereavement support. Donations can be made through the school’s JustGiving page or making a cash donation and submitting it to your child’s class teacher.
