THANK YOU…..
First up on the list of thank you’s has to be to Phil the caretaker. There is nothing this man does not and will not do. He is an absolute legend and probably doesn’t get seen enough for what he does to make this school run like it does - Thank you Phil!
To the staff that stayed, some of which came in on their days off, and to those more heavily involved in the PTA who helped make the event what it was. - Thank you!
To the parent volunteers of the PTA who dedicate their time outside of their own busy lives and work commitments! An event of that size does not happen overnight and the team of people behind the scenes have worked so hard - Thank you!
To the choir who sang absolutely beautifully and worked hard this week to learn a new song - Thank you!
To our SRB children who spent the week busy baking in our community kitchen and to the rest of the children in our school who had been busy crafting for the event - Thank you!
To our stall holders who displayed some gorgeous crafts and bakes yesterday, we hope you had a successful afternoon - Thank you!
To Risca East Community Council who contributed towards the selection boxes and funded the resurfacing of the barked area that housed our marshmallow toasting - Thank you!
To all local businesses that contributed prizes - Thank you!
But the most heartfelt thanks goes you YOU. The support we had from parents, carers, children and the wider community yesterday makes all of the effort worth it. Without you the event wouldn’t be what it was so - THANK YOU!
