The quickest way to fail is trying to add too many things to your routine! Instead, try leaving a few books on your kitchen table and aiming for 5 minutes of reading to your kids (no matter how old or young!) a day during a meal. #consistency trumps everything. I am an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly teacher with 10+ years experience in the primary and secondary school setting. I currently teach in KS2 so my knowledge and teaching methods, styles and resources are relevant and up to date. I value developing positive relationships with students in order to get the best out of them and help them build confidence and develop a love of learning. I use retrieval methods to ensure that basic skills and knowledge are mastered so that children can then apply to deal with more challenging concepts. I will work closely with you and your child to build a bespoke learning experience for them, at a pace that suits them.
