On Friday we held our Macmillan charity stall at Little Lambs, raising money for an incredible cause. πŸ’šβ˜•οΈπŸ§

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought a cake, enjoyed a grab-and-go breakfast or supported our lucky dip. Your generosity helped us raise an amazing Β£136.83! πŸŽ‰

Every penny will help support Macmillan and the incredible work they do for people and families affected by cancer.

Together, we really can make a difference. πŸ’š
Thank you for helping Little Lambs bring people together. πŸ‘πŸ’š

πŸ‚πŸ’§ Autumn Water Play πŸ’§πŸ‚

Our Little Lambs explored our autumn-themed water play, investigating how water moves as they scooped, poured and transported it between different containers. πŸͺ£πŸ

This child-led play encouraged fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, problem-solving and early mathematical thinking, while exploring their transforming and transporting schemas.

Lots of curiosity, experimenting and learning through play! πŸ‚βœ¨

We swapped our usual Friday for a little bit of country and western today as we joined in with Dolly Day! πŸ’—πŸ‘’

Our little cowboys and cowgirls certainly looked the part and we’ve had a brilliant day filled with music, dancing, play and lots of Dolly-inspired fun! 🎢✨

There’s been plenty of laughter, some fabulous outfits and more than a few YEE-HAWS along the way! πŸ˜‚πŸ€

We absolutely love days like this β€” getting everyone involved, having fun together and making those little memories that make nursery life so special. πŸ’œπŸ’š

Have a rootin-tootin good weekend! πŸ€ πŸŒ΅πŸ’—

We took our creativity outdoors and gave our After-School Lambs the chance to create large-scale chalk drawings! ✨

With a blank space beneath their feet and plenty of colourful chalk, our Lambs let their imaginations take over. Some even added masking tape into their designs, creating different lines and shapes.

What a creative afternoon ✨

🎨 Little Lambs meets Picasso! πŸ–ŒοΈ

Tonight we took a little inspiration from Pablo Picasso and his wonderfully unique faces! πŸ‘€πŸ‘ƒπŸ‘„

Our Little Lambs explored shapes, expressions and their own ideas, experimenting with different ways to create their very own Picasso-inspired masterpieces.

No two were the same β€” and that’s exactly what we loved about them! πŸ’œπŸ’š

Little artists, BIG imaginations! 🎨✨

🍦 Ice Cream Station – Gorsaf Hufen IΓ’ 🍦

End of term fun at our Gorsaf Hufen IΓ’ (Ice Cream Station). We enjoyed scooping and making our own ice creams, using our imaginations and developing our fine motor skills!

Throughout our play, we practised simple Welsh language skills, using words such as pinc (pink), glas (blue), mwy (more), sgΕ΅p (scoop), and diolch (thank you).

We had a wonderful time exploring, creating, and building our confidence while using simple Welsh throughout their play. Da iawn, everyone! 🍦😊

πŸŒžπŸ¦† Yesterday, we ventured to the duck pond! We spotted lots of beautiful ducks in all different colours, shapes and sizes, which everyone enjoyed watching.

The children walked so sensibly throughout our outing and loved exploring together in the sunshine. It was a wonderful afternoon full of fresh air, nature, and smiles! β˜€οΈπŸ’œ

We can’t wait for our next adventure! 🌿
