Congratulations year 6, class of 2026 🎓🎉

Today we said goodbye to our wonderful year 6 pupils and celebrated all the memories they have made here with us. 🩵✨

What a show!🎭🩵

Our Key Stage 2 production of Grossbusters was a fantastic celebration of joy, passion and determination. From named roles to the chorus, every single performer shone, showcasing weeks of hard work, growing confidence and incredible teamwork.🫶

A huge thank you to Retford Oaks Academy for once again hosting us and providing such a wonderful stage for our pupils, and to our amazing staff, families and volunteers for all of their support behind the scenes.✨

To make the occasion even more memorable, we were honoured to welcome Craig Hawes, the writer of Grossbusters, to our evening performance. His wonderful feedback made the experience even more special for our children.

We couldn't be prouder of every single pupil—especially our Year 6s, who gave us a performance to remember as they prepare for their next adventure. 🫶🩵

Our end of term production was filled with joy, passion and determination from all of our key stage two performers. Whether they had a role as a named character or as part of the chorus everyone was amazing. The children have been rehearsing for several weeks, learning songs, choreography and lines....

Nursery had a fantastic time welcoming a very special visitor... a real fire engine! 🚒👨‍🚒

A huge thank you to Olivia's daddy, Mike, for taking the time to bring the fire engine along and share this wonderful experience with us. We loved exploring the vehicle, learning more about the important work of firefighters, and making memories together. 😊🔥

We had a lovely trip to the Harley Gallery yesterday. 🎨💙🖌️

We looked at all the amazing portraits and had so much fun learning about the history and meaning behind them. The children also made their own picture frames based on what they saw at the gallery and can be used to display their own artwork.💙

We had a wonderful trip to Cleethorpes beach yesterday!⛱️

The sun was shining which made it the perfect day for sandcastles and ice cream.🍦☀️

A big thank you to our staff and all our parent volunteers for making the trip possible!💙

Today we want to thank our teachers for the patience, kindness and support they show our pupils throughout the year. ⭐💙

Whether its extra guidance during lessons or inspiring new thoughts and ideas, we are so grateful for all their the hard work and effort.🫶

This week we welcomed author and illustrator Liz Million and poet Paul Cookson to school. 📚🖌️

We had an inspiring afternoon where we enjoyed listened to Paul's poems and loved seeing Liz bring her characters to life through her live illustrations.❤️

Liz also led an amazing drawing masterclass which helped everyone to develop their artistic skills. We had such a wonderful time letting our imaginations run wild and we would like to say a big thanks to Retford book festival for providing us with this opportunity. ✏️🫶
