Our next Parent Council meeting is this coming Monday, 16th March. Everyone welcome.

It would be great to see some new faces - whether that be to offer help with fundraising activities, share ideas, provide feedback on your experience as a parent or carer at Trinity (all feedback welcomed), or simply just to listen (we don’t make you talk if you don’t want to šŸ˜‰

Renfrewshire Council have published an Outline Business Case for the new Trinity High School.

This goes into much more detail than has previously been provided, including sites that have been considered and ruled out, and why.

Members of the council’s Education and Children’s Services Policy Board will consider the Business Case when they meet on Thursday 12 March.

We’ve been asked to share the following message from St James’ Parent Group. Might be of interest to S1 parents or those of you with P5s that still have Prom or First Communion outfits they are looking to rehome šŸ’–

ā™»ļøClothes Exchange for P4 Communions & P7 Leavers St James Primary School, Renfrewā™»ļø

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following on from the success of our Halloween costume and Christmas Jumper exchange, we are excited to announce a Clothes Exchange to support families with children preparing for First Communion in P4 and P7 Leavers' celebrations. To make this event a success, we are kindly asking for donations of gently used clothing and accessories in good condition.

Items Needed:

Smart Shoes (for boys and girls)
Shirts & Trousers (suitable for prom)
Suits (boys)
Boy’s Shirts
Communion Dresses
Prom Dresses
Accessories (such as ties, belts, hair bands etc)
Bags (for communion or prom)
Why Donate?It’s a great way to recycle, help each other, create a sense of community and make sure everyone has what they need for these important occasions.

How to Donate: Please bring any items in good condition to the St James’ Primary school office by 9th February 2026.

Tickets on sale soon for what promises to be a fantastic festive event. All ticket money will support our Advent Charities.

There will also be a raffle on the evening with proceeds going to support the Music department. If anyone would like to donate a raffle prize please contact the school office.
