🎶📚 Let’s Sing! 📚🎶

On Friday, some of our wonderful Dovers Green children joined pupils from across the Greensand Multi-Academy Trust for a very special Let’s Sing event! 💚💛

It was a fantastic celebration of music, reading and the joy of books, bringing together children from infant, primary and secondary schools through the power of song! 🎵✨

We are so proud of our children for representing Dovers Green so brilliantly. What a lovely opportunity to come together, share our love of reading and make special memories! 🌟

This week we're in our EYFS provision with Red Ladybirds and Yellow Ladybirds, exploring some of the learning areas they have to help children learn and grow 🌱

We still have a few spaces available at our upcoming open mornings on the 5th November and 16th November 2026.
Please see our website for details.

💎 Dovers’ Diamonds! 💎

A huge well done to this week’s Dovers’ Diamonds, who have been recognised for showing perseverance in their learning, kindness towards others and respect throughout our school. 💚💛

In our assembly this week, we shared the wonderful story What Do You Do With an Idea? by Kobi Yamada. 📖✨

We explored the importance of believing in ourselves, having the confidence to share our ideas and being brave enough to explore where they might take us. After all, every great idea starts somewhere! 🌱

We are so proud of our Diamonds for showing the values that make Dovers Green such a special place to learn and grow.

🌟 Keep shining, Diamonds! 🌟

🚲💚 On your bikes, Dovers Green! 💛🚲

We’ve had a wheelie wonderful time celebrating Cycle to School Week! 🌟

It’s been fantastic to see so many of our children getting active, building confidence and developing their cycling skills whilst having lots of fun!

From little wheels to big adventures, every pedal counts! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Here’s to happy, healthy children and a lifelong love of being active outdoors! 🌳💚

It's so lovely to hear such positive comments about our school. We are so proud of what we do 💚

📚✨ World Poetry Day ✨📚

To celebrate, here is one of Mrs Keyte’s favourite poems, Happiness by A. A. Milne — one of my favourite authors.

And it feels particularly appropriate for Dovers Green! ☔️🌿

Great big waterproof boots on… great big waterproof coats on… and outside we go!

We want our children to enjoy being outdoors throughout the year, not just when the sun is shining. That’s why we’re asking families to make sure children come to school with wellies, coats and clothing suitable for the weather.

Outdoor learning is an important part of life at Dovers. Every class has access to its own outdoor terrace, and every child enjoys 90 minutes of Forest School each week. We’ll also continue to make the most of being outside at breaktimes and lunchtimes — even when things get a little muddy! 🌧️🍂

Because sometimes happiness really is as simple as pulling on your wellies and heading outside. 💚💛

What a fun day in Butterflies! The children worked hard to prepare food, decorations and masks for a Tiger’s Tea Party. Mrs Keyte and Mrs Williams were so grateful for their invitations! Then to finish, Mrs Keyte had the pleasure of reading ‘You can do it, Bert!’ to the Dovers Diamonds in Butterflies! Well done! Greensand MAT
