💛It’s National Play Day today.💛

At Reepham Primary, we see every day how important play is in helping children build confidence, friendships, resilience and imagination.

That’s why we’re bringing people together for The Playmakers’ Gala at Thursford on Thursday 10 September — a playful night of magic, live jazz, a full-course meal, inspiring speakers and a silent auction, all raising funds to improve play across the school.

Thanks to one of our corporate supporters, a small number of £60 tickets are now available.

If you’d like to join us, please email [email protected] with the number of tickets you’d like.

We also have a couple of tables remaining for any local companies interested in joining or supporting the evening.

With just over a month to go until The Playmakers’ Gala at Thursford, we’re putting the final touches to our silent auction and would love to hear from any local businesses or individuals who may be able to donate a prize.

It could be an experience, meal, overnight stay, treatment, hamper, piece of artwork, family day out or something completely different. Every item will help us raise more towards transforming the outdoor play environment at Reepham Primary School.

We also have just a *few tables remaining* for the evening on Thursday 10 September. If you run a local business and would like to bring a table of guests, support the school and enjoy a very special evening at Thursford, please get in touch.

The evening includes a champagne reception in the museum, carousel rides, entertainment, dinner, inspiring speakers and our silent auction, all in support of better play opportunities for the children.

Please message the Friends page or email us if you might be able to help. We would be so grateful for your support. [email protected]

☀️ Wishing all of our Reepham Primary School families a wonderful summer holiday! ☀️

As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Friends of Reepham Primary School.

Whether you've volunteered at an event, baked cakes, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets, sponsored us, attended our events, helped behind the scenes, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on – thank you. Every single contribution has helped us make a real difference for the children at our school.

This year has been an incredible one, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing school community.

While school is out, Friends certainly won't be putting our feet up! We're busy preparing for the first event of the new school year – The Playmakers' Gala in September – our biggest fundraising event yet in support of our play spaces at school.

Over the summer, keep an eye on this page as we'll be sharing ways you can help, particularly if you, your family, friends or workplace might be able to donate a silent auction prize. Experiences, holidays, accommodation, dining vouchers, sporting memorabilia, artwork and unique gifts all make fantastic auction lots and every donation helps us raise even more for the children.

Finally, as we look ahead to September, we'd love to welcome some new faces onto the Friends committee. We're especially looking for people interested in the Treasurer and Secretary roles. You don't need lots of spare time or previous experience – just enthusiasm and a willingness to help make great things happen for our school community. If you've ever thought about getting involved, we'd love to hear from you.

Have a fantastic summer, make lots of wonderful memories, and we'll see you all in September! 🌞💙

We were delighted to welcome Lauren H**p to school this week. As well as spending time with our students, Lauren helped out with our football competition in the afternoon, sharing her experiences and offering encouragement throughout the event. It was a fantastic opportunity for our young people to meet one of England’s leading footballers and hear first-hand about the dedication, resilience and hard work needed to succeed at the highest level. Thank you, Lauren, for being so generous with your time and for inspiring the next generation.
