It’s been another busy summer of improvements at Treleigh — and we’re not finished yet, with further work planned for October!
When you return, we hope you’ll welcome our new parent shelter by the Pencil Gate, as well as noticing a number of other improvements around the school, including new fencing and the repointing of external walls. Inside, with the help of JDS Properties, we have created a new learning space within the Year 5/6 phase, providing greater flexibility for teaching and learning. We have also completed classroom improvements, essential electrical upgrades, and plenty of painting and decorating.
With further tree maintenance and new external doors and windows due to be completed later this term, our ongoing investment will help ensure that Treleigh continues to provide a safe, welcoming and positive environment for our pupils, families and staff.
None of this, however, would have been possible without the tremendous hard work of our Site Supervisor, Mr Roberts. Whether overseeing contractors or rolling up his sleeves and completing jobs himself, his commitment throughout the summer has been hugely appreciated. Moving a 12-foot shed, for example, is certainly no small task!
A very big thank you, Mr Roberts, for everything you have done to get Treleigh ready for another exciting year.
