Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious British Council International School Award (ISA) Accreditation for the period 2026-2029, recognising the school's commitment to international learning, cultural understanding and global citizenship.
The International School Award is granted to schools that successfully embed a global dimension across their curriculum, enabling young people to develop the knowledge, skills and values needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. The accreditation reflects Saint Augustine’s dedication to broadening students' horizons through language learning, international partnerships and a rich programme of cross-curricular activities that celebrate diversity and foster global awareness.
The award also reflects the school's commitment to its Catholic mission. By encouraging students to engage with different cultures, perspectives and global issues, Saint Augustine’s helps young people live out the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, particularly the dignity of every person, solidarity with others, and the call to be active participants in creating a more just and peaceful world.
Through a range of international projects, students have explored issues such as human rights, environmental responsibility, cultural identity and global inequality, developing not only their academic understanding but also their sense of responsibility towards others as members of one human family.
