Well done Caitlin!

Say hello to Caitlin 👋

When Caitlin joined our 12-week programme, not only was she looking to improve her confidence and work on her anxiety, she was also hoping to improve her CV.

It was during the course that Caitlin realised her true passion for helping others. With a little bit of guidance, we were able to work together on updating her CV and also work on improving those interview skills.

After completing the course last year, Caitlin has now secured a role as a Support Worker, something she has told us that she loves to do!

We are so happy to see you in your dream role Caitlin!

Today the Middlebrough/Redcar and Stockton Prince's Trust team carried out their supporting others unit with ESOL students from the college.
The young people visited Charltons Pond to work with the Angling Trust and help them with conservation of the ponds before have an introduction to fishing.

Today the team arranged to support others by arranging to have tea with the food and friendship group at Breckon Hill Community Centre. The team ordered pizza from Pizza Hut and went to collect it. They then handed out the plates etc. We finished a lovely evening with a game of bingo 😊

Are you aged 16-25 years and want to gain some experience in a real work place? Why not join our 12 week team course starting on 26th September! As part of the course you will be placed in a two week work placement of your choice! Here are some students from the current teams in their work placements! We currently have a student in subway improving his confidence, communication, social and people skills. We also have other students wanting to join the army, they are gaining military skills are the army reserve centre in Middlesbrough.
