The importance of thorough compliance is highlighted in a recent news article. An incident occurred when an operator on a ride-on mower slid down a slope, fell off a retaining wall, and overturned after a 2-meter drop. An investigation by the HSE revealed that there was no accurate risk assessment in place and the operator lacked proper training for operating the ride-on mower on slopes.

This incident Highlights the need for:
- Thorough and precise risk assessments
- Up-to-date training for equipment, including specific location training for safe operation on slopes, roadsides, graveyards and similar environments.
