New Program Launch!

Tonight, Tilehurst Venue 💃🏼

I watch this Geo community we have built, from both afar and closely. On the WhatsApp groups, during sessions, receiving feedback.

My entire purpose of building Geo was to give people not only a place to dance, to get fit and have fun, it was to build community and connection. To build a family. To build a support network. That holds and supports each and everyone that is a part of it.

I have read a conversation tonight on one of the groups Michelle runs. Someone going through a truly awful time. I see the love, the care, the response from the rest of this community.

This is precious. It really is.

During these ill times out there, where the world wants to blow itself up and throw bombs and where illness infiltrates, let’s remember… even within a dance community in one town, we can still feel and be the love. For one another 💛

A highlight this week for one of my Geo Kids, Aria, who comes on Saturday mornings.

An absolute joy to teach today. When she locks in and really focuses, on both the music and the training/instruction, she is showing some very beautiful work.

Geo Dance Weekly Round Up

Another wonderful week of dance, progression and passion in our classes.

Highlighting the phenomenal work of our Geo Kids. Their progress is just amazing.
We have been focussing on posture and body alignment this week in our tech sessions, and they are really harnessing the foundations of how to carry themselves correctly, especially balletically.
Their ability to lock in with music rhythmically using correct timing and rhythm is improving all the time as well.
Great work kids, I’m so very proud of you all.

We trialled our youngest ever joiner this morning at age 3, we don’t normally take children younger than 4. Based on how this went we maybe opening up classes from age 3, but I need further discussion with the team on this. Please keep an eye out, as I know there are younger siblings that may wish to join us.

Parents, I will be introducing bi-annual personalised reports on all students, so you can monitor their individual progression as they continue their dance journeys. I will let you know when the first of these will be given out.

Easter plans are still pending due to availability as many are away over the break. I will finalise the decision on this in the next few days.

As always, any announcements/updates will go out on the relevant WhatsApp groups during the week days. All classes operating as normal next week.
