Can you believe we’re almost in March 2026 already? 🌧️ It feels like the rain has been going on forever, and we’re all patiently waiting for a little sunshine to brighten these grey, soggy days!
But even with the dull weather outside, it’s nothing but brightness indoors. Our incredible children continue to light up every room with their laughter, energy and wonderfully cheerful personalities. Rain or shine, they always find a reason to smile — and make us smile too.
From creative activities and games to cosy movie afternoons and plenty of giggles in between, there’s never a dull moment here. We may be waiting on the sunshine, but we’re certainly not waiting on the fun! ☀️✨

December is here and Christmas has arrived at our homes 🎄🎅 The children are loving the decorations and are excited for all the fun activities planned. Lets have fun, eat naughty foods and be merry 🎄🎅🎄🎅

Love this 🍁🍂🥮 Change is something that unfortunately affects our children more than we would want. But lets ensure they know, lets continue to remind them, that change can be beautiful 😍
Autumn reminds us of this and we have lots of trips and activities planned for our lovely children to show them that change can also be fun, so off to visit the amazing Harry Potter World it is 🧹🦉🪄

It's here already, September! We had an amazing summer with the children, lots of lovely holidays and activities. Now to look forward to the autumn fun 🍁🍂

We have recently used https://gk-services.co.uk/ to complete limescale removal and deep cleans of all bathrooms in one of our properties. Hard Water is something that Reading struggles with and having GK services come out and provide such a professional service was amazing. The bathrooms look brand new again! We have now booked for another home 😀 Thank you Kayleigh and Georgia for all of your hard work

A helpful reminder for any parent. If your child can't tell you in words, they will often use their behaviour to let you know how they’re feeling. This might come out as anger.

Underneath these behaviours, a young person who seems very angry may also be feeling things like fear, stress, sadness, hurt or worry – or might be struggling to cope with a difficult experience at school, at home or in another part of their life that they feel unable to talk about.

It can be helpful to remember that a person who’s feeling angry a lot of the time probably isn’t feeling very happy – and while it might not be obvious, what they often need is support. Supporting children and young people to put their feelings into words can help them to feel less overwhelming, making it less likely that they will need to act out.
