Reading loves reading 2026!

Last year over 1,860 children and 540 adults took part in the libraries’ Summer Reading Challenge

Children need to read 6 books and visit 3 times – adults need to complete Book Bingo cards

We want these numbers to rocket this year and have even more people joining in – especially with our new Central library opening at the Civic Centre, RG1 2LU on 18 June.
