The Community Transport Association (CTA) is carrying out UK-wide research to better understand the barriers disabled children and young people face when travelling to school, healthcare appointments, social activities, and other important destinations. We want to ensure that the experiences of disabled children, young people and their families are at the heart of future transport solutions.
They would particularly like to hear from:
Parents and carers of disabled children and young people (up to age 25)
Disabled young people aged 16–25 with their own experiences of transport
The findings will be used to develop practical guidance and training for community transport providers across the UK, helping services become more accessible and responsive to the needs of disabled children, young people and their families. Dedicated local solutions are also being developed in eight areas across the UK, making participation especially valuable.
Taking part:
Takes around 10 minutes
New deadline: 5pm, 4 September 2026
Participants can enter a prize draw to win one of three £250 vouchers

We had an amazing time! Thank you for organising Aspire2
📚 Aspire2 2026 Poetry Competition 📖
We had the absolute BEST day listening to the most wonderful poems and performances from the pupils of the Whitley Schools! ✨
HUGE thank you to all the schools that took part and that were able to accommodated the date change. The event wouldn't be the same without University of Reading hosting us and our amazing judges A.F. Harrold Holly Webb and Alex Baker from a creative writing group held Wokingham Borough Libraries
Until next year! ⭐️
