☔⛱🌞🌻🥔A wet and rainy week in Tilehurst is great for our potatoes and doesn't stop the children from enjoying themselves outside at the Nursery. But it will be a very different story next week when the sun is supposed to shine and temperatures reach 27 degrees. Welly boots and waterproofs one week and sun cream and sun hats the next - that's England for you! ☔⛱🌞🌻🥔

Despite the rain, the children are still outside, running around, playing and learning. It's a good day for water play in welly boots! And an update on the plants - just look at the potatoes that the children planted just a few weeks ago! They're really thriving and our own little bit of 'Incredible Edible!'

Today Coach Harry came and taught the children in the 3-4 yr room some great ball skills! They had a brilliant time together. Harry was fantastic with the children and they were really engaged with him and all the activities. Thank you Harry at KIXX.org.uk for a great training session!!⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Last Tuesday day we had a visitor from the Opticians. She shared how Opticians can help us. Our visitor explained how glasses help us to see more clearly. The children had great fun taking it in turns to try on the glasses that were brought along, and they all thought they were wonderful! We are so lucky to have such wonderful community heroes come to visit us in Nursery.
