🌸🐣 Easter Sensory Play Idea 🐣🌸
Bring a burst of colour and texture to your little one’s playtime with a simple coloured shredded paper sensory tray 💛💜💙
Fill a tray or basket with soft, pastel shredded paper and hide little Easter treasures inside—think mini eggs (plastic), chicks, bunnies, or spoons for scooping. It’s a beautiful, low-cost way to spark curiosity and exploration.
✨ Why it’s great:
• Encourages fine motor skills through grabbing, scooping & sprinkling
• Supports sensory development with different textures
• Promotes imaginative play and early language skills
🌼 Glow Tots Tip: Add different tools like cups or tongs to extend the play and keep little hands busy for longer!
Always supervise during play and adapt materials to suit your child’s age 💫

Loving how young my AI self looks 🤣💛
This is what happens when:
🌈 The parachute goes up
✨ The lights start glowing
👶 Little hands reach up
😆 And I fully commit to the drama
Honestly though…
These moments?
The eye contact.
The tiny gasps.
The wobbly claps.
That’s brain building in action 🧠💫
And yes… I will absolutely sing “UP UP UP!” like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened. Every. Single. Week.
Because to them?
It kind of is 🥹✨

Loose parts play is a beautiful way to spark curiosity-led learning in little ones. Using simple items that can be moved, sorted, stacked, and explored gives children the freedom to experiment in their own way. When we add magnets and metal trays, the magic really happens ✨
The pull, click, and clink of magnets attaching to metal instantly invites investigation.
