On Friday we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 class. After an emotional leavers’ service, shirt signing, a fabulous inflatable pool party and a brilliant final send off from the whole school at the end of the day, we’d like to wish each and every one of them the very best for the future. We couldn’t be prouder of the amazing young people they’ve become. You’ll always be part of the St Andrew’s family. 🏫🍎💙🧡

Another spectacular Fun Day - water fights, bouncy castles and ice cream!
Our School Ambassadors have been working hard to raise money for our school all year and our Fun Day is a treat for everyone who donated and supported them, to say ‘thank you’. Our generous PTFA also hired the ice cream van so each child could enjoy a treat! What a day! ☀️🎪🍦

On Friday evening, some of our choir members attended a concert organised by Rossendale male choir. Our children were a credit to the school. They sang brilliantly and listened to the Rossendale male choir as they shared lots of their songs. Year 2 have been sewing their own puppets. They planned their design, did a running stitch to sew the felt together and then decorated their puppets according to the plan. They turned out great and the children really enjoyed making them! 🪡
