COLOUR RUN SPONSORSHIP FORMS

Every child should have a sponsorship form if not please let us know. We hope all children are able to collect sponsorship money for taking part in the Colour Run next Saturday!

Please return all completed forms and the correct sponsorship money either:
On the day of the Colour Run or to the school office by 12th June.

If you haven’t already signed up, there’s still time, everyone is welcome to join in please sign up family and friends there are 2 routes and you can decide which to run on the day.

📣 PTFA Secretary Wanted 📣

Our PTFA is looking for a new Secretary to join the team from September, with a full handover provided.

The role involves:
• Taking minutes during meetings
• Helping arrange licences for PTFA events
• Preparing agendas and sharing them on the WhatsApp groups
• Being part of the trustee WhatsApp group

We meet just once a term, so it’s a manageable role and a great way to support the school community.

All children should have brought home a book of raffle tickets for our PTFA Summer Raffle! The raffle will be drawn on 3rd July at the Summer Fayre.

Please return:

by 26th June.

Extra tickets are available from reception, and more tickets will be sold at Sports Day, the Colour Run and the Summer Fayre.

PTFA Colour Run Saturday 6th June!

Tickets are £5 per person, and everyone taking part in the run will need a ticket — children, parents, grandparents, and anyone else joining in the fun.

As with most colour runs, we encourage runners to wear a white T-shirt and sunglasses. As Mr C loves his merch, we also have a limited number of SVSJ sunglasses available to purchase in advance either via the link below or from the school shop. Glasses purchased in advance will be available to collect on the day of the run.

On the day:

* Gates open at 10:00am
* Races begin at 11:00am
* All runners will be banded on arrival

There will be two route options:

* A shorter loop around the school grounds
* A longer route around the school and through the fields to Downside Woods

Refreshments will be available on the day, and adult spectators will also be able to purchase additional bags of colour to throw at the runners at the finish line!

As this event is taking place outside of school hours, please ensure children have any inhalers, EpiPens, or other medication they may need with them on the day.

Spectators are very welcome — the more cheering, the better — so please come along and support this exciting event.

We look forward to seeing you there for a fantastic, colourful day of fun

We were delighted to collaborate with the school this year to celebrate World Book Day and the wonderful theme of 100 years of Winnie the Pooh 🐻📚

To mark the occasion, we organised a bookmark design competition, with one winner to be chosen from KS1 and one from KS2, choosing winners was incredibly difficult!

In the end, three winners were selected:
✨ Paddy in Campion
✨ Wilbur in Foxglove
✨ Isla in Gentian

Congratulations to all of our winners! 🎉

The winning bookmarks were professionally printed, and every child in the school has received a copy to enjoy. Each winner also received a £10 book voucher 📖

We were so impressed by the creativity and effort from all the children that every single entry was laminated and returned as a special keepsake 💛
