Blessed with sunshine and blue-skies, our Year 4 children are having such an amazing time on their two-night residential at Woodrow High House. Yesterday they were busy practising their bush craft skills and enjoyed a movie and popcorn evening. After a delicious breakfast, they are now all set for a morning on the high ropes and they have a campfire to look forward to this evening. We cannot wait to hear more about their adventure!

D.T. Week is in full swing and the children are having a great time developing their design and technology skills every afternoon this week. Year 6 are busy being 'programming pioneers', using the microbits to create their own game or toy using a range of programming technology. We cannot wait to see their finished products!

There is lots of excitement buzzing around school at the moment, as we eagerly await the hatching to commence!

A huge thank you to Mrs Barton for organising an unforgettable experience for our choir!

After an afternoon of rehearsals and being entertained by dance group Urban Strydes and none other than MC Grammar, the children performed in a Young Voices Concert in Birmingham - the largest children’s choir in the world! Well done to all involved, you were incredible!

Year 6 attended the village Remembrance Service this morning; taking part in the readings and the laying of a wreath on behalf of our school. Thank you to our children who represented the school so well.

The rest of the school community gathered in the playground to observe a two-minute silence to honour those who have served and sacrificed their lives for our safety and freedom.

Happy Harvest!

The children performed beautifully at St Mary’s church this
morning, sharing performances from poems to artwork and prayers. We were very proud of them. Thank you to our children and staff.

Longwick learners showed our Christian values and were very respectful and we enjoyed Reverend David’s closing
prayer. A big thank you to our community for your generous donations, which the ‘One Can Trust’ will pass on to families who need them, it is much appreciated.
