Are you a postgraduate / early career scholar looking to present and share your environmental archaeological work of Aegean prehistory?

Yes! Well this could be for you ...

ScapeCon9 to be held at Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland, on 20-21 May 2027, is an international conference dedicated to postgraduate and early-career scholars working on the prehistoric Aegean. The conference will exploring processes of transformation and continuity from the Neolithic to the end of the Bronze Age through a broad range of archaeological approaches.

Details:
Registration is required, though participation is free 🤠
The conference will be conducted in English.

To participate, please submit an abstract of approximately 250 words, together with five keywords, your affiliation, and your preferred presentation format to: [email protected] by November 10, 2026.

Authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission by January 30, 2027.

Submissions formats:
-15-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion
-5-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion

-AEA member: £70 early bird (£85 standard)
-AEA student/unemployed/retired member: £42 early bird (£50 standard)
-Non-member: £95 early bird (£120 standard)
-Student/unemployed/retired non-member: £80 early bird (£100 standard)
-Online-only access): £45 (audience only; early bird pricing does not apply)
