Section 31 of the Children Act 1989 – Care Order
The court can create a care order under Section 31(1) (a) of the Children Act, placing a child in the care of a designated local authority, with parental responsibility being shared between the parents and the local authority. Any child in local authority care will be cared up to the age of 18years and they be intergrated in the community of their choice to continue to live their normal lifestyle
Section 21 United Kingdom Child Protection Act means
Provision of accommodation for children in police protection or detention or on remand, etc. E+W. (1)Every local authority in UK shall make provision for the reception and accommodation of children who are removed or kept away from home under Part V.
Child protection is part of the safeguarding process. It focuses on protecting individual children identified as suffering or likely to suffer significant harm. This includes child protection procedures which detail how to respond to concerns about a child. Social Services, Parent and Guardian needs to be aware of at any time they see a child is been abuse and report to authorities so that correct protection can be given to the Child that is been abused
