Hats off to young Evie & Brodie who have been spending their school holiday productively by litter picking their housing estate in Newtown.

We were so impressed with their effort that we invited them to visit our recycling depot in Abermule and presented them a special certificate of achievement and a goody bag.

Roedden ni mor falch o'u hymdrech nes i ni eu gwahodd i ymweld â'n depo ailgylchu yn Aber-miwl a chyflwyno tystysgrif cyflawniad arbennig a bag danteithion iddyn nhw. Da iawn a diolch pwb bach!

Thank you for all your support over the year as we work together to create some wonderfully fantastic learning experiences for our children. 🙌 It’s gone so quickly - time certainly does fly when you’re having fun. 😀

What a fantastic 12 days of food, fun and fabulousness we’ve had! 🙌
From sporting activities 🏏 to the big splash 🛶 on the lakes, from blindfold tasting 😋to breakout challenges 🔐 , we’ve had an absolute blast! 💥
Thanks to everyone who’s made this happen, our wonderful visitors, our families for joining in the fun on our family days , our 93 children who’ve tapped into our sessions - you’ve all played your part in making this our BIGGEST food and fun programme to date!
Most of all, I’m incredibly grateful to our school staff who once again pull out all the stops and support yet another school experience for our children. We are so fortunate for their dedication and commitment. 🫶

Hanging Tough 💪
Wow! How brave were our children today as they buckled up and climbed the dizzy heights of the high ropes course! Climbing the equivalent of 🏔️ I’m sure they could see our school from the top of one bar!
Ardderchog to see so many enjoy the challenges set, climb their way into and out of their comfort zones - very proud.

What a way to kick off our final day of this years food and fun programme as we made waves on the waters up at RedRidge.
Fantastic to see so many children have the confidence in the water as they mastered kayaking!

I Want To Break Free!
Setting us up for the weekend with some challenges set by Beyond Breakout as Jo and Laura brought their A-Game!
Children navigated their way through a series of mind and physical challenges, battling their way through the Magic Portal, defeating the goblins in a race to save the world!

Today we welcomed our families and friends as our Hafren Hall turned into Downtown Rome for the afternoon!
Starting from scratch our children and families made pizza dough, cut and prepared healthy toppings (including pineapple!!!) and created their pizza masterpieces! 🍕 with thin, thick and even cheese filled crusts!
A real fun filled afternoon with our families. 🫶 🍕

Wow! Over the past few years we have been working with Open Newtown and partners on a number of projects on green spaces across our town.
So pleased to be asked to be involved in this art project, designing and creating some information boards for Dolerw Park with drawings and information of the nature around us 🌳
They looked so good, our Eco-Schools Council asked if we could also have some for our grounds.
Six boards have been placed around our Daily Mile path. Keep your eyes peeled and look around - what can you see? 👀 🐛 🍏 💧 🐦‍⬛ 💐 🌳
