Woohoo!

We are delighted that this week not only have we received a gold award for Wyre in Bloom but also have been awarded our Green Flag again, with Merit.
We will receive our certificate and a new plaque soon 😊

We are so proud of all our Eco Warriors and Miss Wright treated them on Monday to some delicious campfire smores as a reward.

Thank you to Miss Wright for coordinating the allotment duties and using outdoor learning to support some of the Eco jobs.
Another thank you goes to Mr and Mrs Hall who have come and strimmed down our new sensory garden area - we were very excited to check that out yesterday.

A fantastic game of football at the Gala with highs and lows, and a Carter's team who never gave up.
Our thanks must go to Matt, Michaela, Mr Hassett and everyone else who contributed to a fantastic year.

The crowd after the final penalty, when the team, former pupils and many jubilant people celebrated, was a moment of joy. 🥳🥳🥳👏👏👏👏👏

Well... we've done it again! 🎉

Team Carter's are the Knott-End and Preesall Gala Netball Champions once again! 🏐💙

A huge congratulations to our dedicated, hardworking and talented team, who represented our school brilliantly throughout the competition.

A very special thank you goes to our legendary coaches, Jen Danson and Darcey Danson, for giving up their time every single week to train and inspire another award-winning team. This incredible victory marks our fifth consecutive year as champions – an amazing achievement! 👏🏆

We'd also like to say a massive thank you to all of our families, who have been our biggest cheerleaders, transported players to matches and supported the team every step of the way. We simply couldn't do it without you. ❤️

Sadly, with most of the squad made up of Year 6 pupils, this was their final time playing together as Team Carter's. Thank you for your commitment, determination and fantastic teamwork over the years. You have been wonderful ambassadors for our school, and we wish you all the very best as you begin your next adventure at high school.

Once a champion, always a champion. 💙🏐

🎪 Carter’s Summer Fair 2026 ☀️🍦

Get ready for an afternoon packed with fun, laughter, games, treats and hopefully… SUNSHINE! 🌤️
(Fingers crossed the rain stays away this year! ☔😂)

We can’t wait to welcome everyone into school for our Carter’s Summer Fair — a chance for our whole school community to come together, have fun and raise money for some amazing things around school.

📅 Friday 3rd July

There’ll be stalls, games, goodies, smiles and plenty of summer fun for everyone to enjoy!

💛 All money raised will help support:

- exciting new subject resources
- class treats and rewards
- subsidised school trips
- improved learning environments
- and lots of brilliant new books for our two amazing libraries 📚

On Wednesday, a group of Year 1 and 2 children, represented our school in the KS1 Bookfest Dance Festival at the Marine Hall, Fleetwood.
Over 20 local primary schools took part and the children performed their 'Rainbow Fish' dance, to a full house, with confidence and big smiles on their faces.
This is a huge achievement and we are very proud of them.
