Meet Angie: A Talented Balloon and Event Styling Professional with a Passion for Education

Angie's extensive experience and passion in the creative industry are evident in her diverse skill set and wealth of knowledge in the balloon and event styling industry. Throughout her career, Angie's passion for education has been a driving force, reflected in her qualifications and years of coaching in gymnastics, trampolining, and badminton. For 18 years, she taught at a top land-based college in the UK, and managed the Balloon & Event Décor department, taught several regulated courses, and designed and taught bespoke programs. Angie's expertise and creativity in the field has made her a prominent educator, receiving invitations to give demonstrations and workshops at numerous educational centres, schools, colleges, wholesalers, and industry trade events. Angie's dedication to expanding her knowledge and skills is evident in her various qualifications, including a Level 2 NOCN in floral art and design, a Level 2 in Graphic design, and extensive experience and qualifications in Marketing, media, sales, exhibitions, publishing, and sports. Her exceptional talent in Balloon Artistry has also earned her international industry awards, solidifying her reputation as a respected professional in her field. As the Training Development Manager for BAPIA (The Balloon and Party Industry Alliance), Angie is a sought-after educator in the balloon and party industry. Her experience and knowledge of the latest trends and industry practices ensure that her balloon and event styling courses offered through Creative Craft Workshops are of the highest quality. WE’VE REBRANDED!

It’s still Creative Craft Workshops but just with branding that feels much more like us.

I’d known for a while that my old branding no longer represented where the business is today. With my background in graphic design & marketing, I was definitely guilty of not practising what I teach! 😂

So I finally put some proper time aside & gave myself a brief:

"Create an identity that represents the things that have shaped my working life... balloons, flowers, event styling & helping people grow through education."

Over the 25 years I’ve worked as a professional educator, styles, trends, products & our industry have changed BUT my belief in what good education should offer hasn’t.

For me, it’s always been about more than teaching a practical skill. It’s about sharing knowledge, encouraging questions & understanding the WHY as well as the HOW.

So this wasn’t simply about creating a prettier logo. It was about creating an identity that feels much more like Creative Craft Workshops today.
