I've been quiet here for the past few months for a couple of reasons. One reason involved falling down a ladder last summer and destroying my heel bone and ankle joint (cue lots of learning about fractures, treatment and unintended consequences π±) and one was considering where to go next with tutoring...
As my own children reach the age where we need to think about formal qualifications, I have decided not to take on any more tutees, so that I can focus on supporting them. I will probably complete one more academic year with my remaining tutees, by which time I would have been doing this job for nearly 14 years! π
It has been an immense privilege to work with so many young people and help them achieve their full potential. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes, for all the cups of tea and the gifts over the years. I have successfully got this beautiful plant through the winter and its blooms serve as a reminder of this brilliant job. πΈ

The months of the year: Gah, I've been getting it wrong! I thought it was July and August that misaligned the names of the subsequent months. Nope!
