We're proud to announce the date for the University of Portsmouth Gamejam 2022!

NOTE: This is a face-to-face/physical event this year (back to usual!), but we will also accommodate virtual participants (so please sign up even if you can't physically make it to Portsmouth)!

What is a Gamejam?

A game jam is an event where participants gather from far and wide, and make a game in a short space of time either individually or in a small team - our Jam is 4 days of development, and 1 day of showcasing to industry judges and the general public. We'll wrap things up on Friday evening with an Awards Ceremony for the very best games!

Who's a Gamejam for?
---------
Everyone! Games development requires all sorts of skill sets, ranging from creative writing, coding, physical prototyping, illustration, 3d art, animation, motion capture, audio, composition, visual effects, interactive design, fashion, virtual production (literally everything!) etc. Don't feel like it's not for you (because it is!), and don't worry if you're alone, we can help you find a team! The only real rule is you have to be 16 or over.

Physical Gamejammer £15 - This includes a hot lunch for every day of the event (Monday to Friday) and a FREE custom-made Gamejam t-shirt
Virtual Gamejammer £2 - This is only for participation in the event virtually. We can't email you a hot lunch unfortunately, but you can get a t-shirt + other goodies posted to you as optional extras (UK residents only)
