Many of you ask how my wonderful student, Alfie Connolly, did at the Zildjian Young Drummer of the Year 2025 finals.
I would say he did pretty damned well, despite not winning, what a star at 15 years old!.
I think I may have helped create a monster, is the world ready for him?!

If you'd like a lesson from a proven teacher, it's a mere £25/hr

I feel like a proud parent, what a great performance by Alfie Connolly - my student the last 5 years by now.
I think we all agree he's a stunning player that despite not winning, has a helluva future ahead of him!

ONE OF THE TOP 10 YOUNG DRUMMERS IN THE UK!

Weird, but I don't put my own performances here.

Would you feel more confident in a drum-teacher who shows what he/she does, rather than trust in reputation alone?
I'm very happy to post current & historical performances to help boost confidence in my potential as a teacher for you or your children.
Yay, or nay?

They say that lightning doesn't strike the same place twice.

However, my wonderful student, Alfie Connolly, has made the finals in the Zildjian Young Drummer of the Year 2025, to be held in March in Bournemouth.
The previous being the quite famous now, Simone Odaranile, who is now one of the best go-to drummers in the business.

It takes a lot of commitment to get to the top (& so much practising), but if that's where you want yourself or your son/daughter to get to, I can provide a solid foundation that teaches a learner (we're ALL learners, BTW ) how to structure simple ideas to create fabulous drumming that every band can use.

A mere 25 of your English pounds will rock your world for a whole hour's tuition from a proven teacher with 40 years of touring & recording experience, satisfaction guaranteed!
I would advise booking soon, this time of year will get crowded so if you want an optimum time for your lesson, best book now...

Message me & let's make 2025 the year your drumming hits the heights it deserves!

HNY to all!

Christmas is coming & many of you might be thinking of buying a young family-member a drum-kit, a most-excellent idea!
Please don't buy something that pretends that it's a kit - this could put a youngster off massively.
As my gift to any of you, I can help you find & buy a kit that will not cost the earth & will inspire- just message me & I'll be glad to help you make the right decision. No cost, just ask...

I get a lot of questions about who my drumming is influenced by.
all the usual Collins, Bonham, Cobham & there's some great modern players who are just incredible.
However, there's literally no-one that can do this.
This has the drumming-equivalent of your guitar dives & trills with a big sound, maybe as big as Bonham, More flurries than Ali, like a butterfly carrying a sledgehammer.

Here's a video of 15-yr-okd Alfie Connolly playing a great solo at Priory School's Xmas bash musical bash at the Wedgewood Rooms.
He's been a pleasure to teach since he started 2 or 3 years ago, an exceptionally highly motivated player with a bright future ahead of him.
Enjoy!
