However, my wonderful student, Alfie Connolly, has made the finals in the Zildjian Young Drummer of the Year 2025, to be held in March in Bournemouth.
The previous being the quite famous now, Simone Odaranile, who is now one of the best go-to drummers in the business.

It takes a lot of commitment to get to the top (& so much practising), but if that's where you want yourself or your son/daughter to get to, I can provide a solid foundation that teaches a learner (we're ALL learners, BTW ) how to structure simple ideas to create fabulous drumming that every band can use.

I get a lot of questions about who my drumming is influenced by.
all the usual Collins, Bonham, Cobham & there's some great modern players who are just incredible.
However, there's literally no-one that can do this.
This has the drumming-equivalent of your guitar dives & trills with a big sound, maybe as big as Bonham, More flurries than Ali, like a butterfly carrying a sledgehammer.
