We have just celebrated our last assembly of the year where we celebrated and said goodbye to some incredible members of the Langstone Team. Miss Payne, Mrs Simmonds, Mrs Keating and Mrs Norris are all leaving us and starting their next chapter and we wish them all the very best. Miss Payne has started her teaching career with us and is now off on a new adventure. Mrs Simmonds, Mrs Keating and Mrs Norris have been with us for over 20 years and have been an integral part of our school community and a huge source of support for our pupils during that time. We will miss them!

Arts week is off to a great start following a fantastic assembly from Mrs Lyne introducing the themes to us all.

The School Council have been thinking carefully about ways to save energy in our school. They have created posters that will be displayed to remind others of the role that they play in saving energy.

Class 4 had a wonderful time on their class trip to Longdown Dairy Farm on Friday! See the website for more photos. Class 6 go this Friday.

Class 5 had a lovely day exploring Longdown Farm on Monday and Class 4 are very excited to go on their trip on Friday!

The children in Year One have been learning about feelings and emotions as part of their work in PSHE. This week they talked about the concept of love and ways to show affection to others.
