The best way to practice for exams.

The best practice for an exam is the exam itself. Since that would be cheating, try working through past papers. They are so similar to the actual exam that it is almost like cheating.

I feel sorry for students who try to pass just by working in class and doing homework. I have seen the sort of homework students get given and often if you know how to do the first one you know how to do them all because they are all the same. The student wastes hours learning nothing at all.

When I am helping a student with their homework and it is all pointless busy work. I find myself losing the will to live so how does the student feel?

After I have repeated the same phrase thirty times it stops making sense. It is not just that repetition doesn't work it actually does harm.

You are best off using the term Photovoltaic when you are talking about photodiodes and using the term Photoelectric when talking about wave particle duality and Einstein's photoelectric effect experiment.
The two terms are very similar.
The Photovoltaic Effect is when the electrons don't leave the surface of the material.
The Photoelectric Effect is when the electrons do leave the surface of the material.
