🌟Huge congratulations to James in P6!👏

Last Thursday, James visited Thales to see his winning invention, 'The Marvellous Dog Heater' 🐶🔥, brought to life as a working prototype! 🛠️✨

James' design was selected from the 2025 'If you were an engineer, what would you do?' competition, with only a small number of entries chosen each year to become real prototypes. 🌟

His design has now been submitted for the prestigious MacRobert Award 🏆, and James will travel to London in November. 🇬🇧 We are incredibly proud of this outstanding achievement and wish him the very best of luck! 💙🍀

💐👋 Today we said a heartfelt farewell to Mrs McBride as she leaves Portavogie Primary School after 10 wonderful years. 💙

For most of that time, Mrs McBride has been our dedicated P2 classroom assistant, making a real difference to the lives of so many children. ❤️ She has also shared her incredible creativity, designing beautiful backdrops, scenery and displays that have helped make so many of our school events extra special. 🎨✨

Mrs McBride has been a valued member of our school family and she will be greatly missed by pupils, staff and the wider school community. 💙 We thank her for everything she has done over the past 10 years and wish her every success and happiness in her new role. 🍀🌸

🥇 One pupil has reached the Gold Level after only joining our school at Easter – a brilliant achievement! 🌟 The other has worked hard throughout the year and has now completed the Epic Level! 🚀🏅
