Not shared much on here apart from the odd story but yesterday I finally graduated with First Class Honours in my Music degree with the OU.

4 years (initially thinking it’d take 3) of last minute deadline cramming, worrying levels of thesaurus use and going into absolute hermit mode when approaching deadlines… is… over 😮‍💨

Couldn’t have done it without the support of my parents, Mollie and her mum Julie, my closest friends/family and lovely course pals 🫶 Also a big thank you to my amazing students who have been very supportive and understanding leading up to big assignments.

Not sure if I’ll go back to studying further, but for now I’m just happy to have achieved this and excited to continue developing as a musician and teacher 🎼🥁📈
