🎄 CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP 🎄

Our popular Christmas Wreath Workshop is back!

Grab your friends, enjoy a festive evening, have a giggle and get creative while making your own fresh foliage Christmas wreath to take home.

Everything you need will be provided, with refreshments available to purchase on the night. You can also bring along a few favourite baubles or ribbons to make your wreath even more personal ✨

Our Year 1 children are thrilled to be taking part in Forest School this half term! 🌳🍂

They have loved getting outdoors, exploring the natural environment and enjoying lots of hands-on learning together.

We’re looking forward to many more Forest School adventures over the coming weeks! 🌿😊

📚✨Year 1's Magical Trip to the Library✨🏰

Our fantastic Year 1 children put on their walking shoes and took a lovely stroll up from school to explore our local library.

They enjoyed listening to an enchanting story, and then the real adventure began—a fairytale-themed treasure hunt! From finding glass slippers to spotting magical beanstalk clues, they had a wonderful time hunting for items and discovering all the amazing books and resources the library has to offer.

We are so proud of how well everyone walked and listened. Who knows what adventures our next books will take us on? 📖🪄

Our Early Years Discover and Explore sessions are full of exciting opportunities for children to learn through their play. Young children learn best when they can explore, investigate and create through hands-on experiences.

During our Discover and Explore sessions, the children have been busy exploring our outdoor area, practising their cutting skills, and using the small world resources to create their own imaginative stories. Children have been taking part in many activities designed to develop their fine motor skills needed for handwriting.

To make learning even more exciting, the children have been practising their phonics skills with our robot friend, Metal Mike! I wonder if the children can tell you some sounds they have learnt!

It has been wonderful to see the children's learning shine through their play!

🎨✨ Year 2 loved exploring our Art Attack topic, learning about different artists, creating clay sculptures, natural art and making a giant hot air balloon! It was wonderful to share their amazing work with families at our art exhibition. 🖼️💛 Article 29: Goals of education - Education must develop every child's personality, talents and abilities to the full.

✨ Year 2 is off to a roaring start! Our Panthers, Tigers, Leopards and Lions have settled in well, loved learning together and enjoyed exploring the playground fitness equipment. 🐾

Our new Year One children have settled in brilliantly to their new classes and they have really enjoyed their first full week back at school!

The children have made lots of new friends in our getting to know you activities and in Discover and Explore they have enjoyed playing together, drawn their very own self portrait and practised their counting and cutting skills. We are so proud of them!
