Year 2 Super Power Race Day! πβ‘
Year 2 had a fantastic morning on Friday testing out their super power race cars that they designed and made in Design and Technology.
The children showed wonderful teamwork, cheering one another on and creating a really fun and supportive atmosphere. Each colour group proudly had a semi-finalist, but the overall winner across the year group was Koby Jackson β his car simply didnβt want to stop!
Well done to everyone for the effort and creativity that went into making your cars. It was certainly a very noisy, but thoroughly enjoyable, morning! π

Get ready to move it, move it! πββοΈπ¨
Year 1 kicked off their brand-new topic, βWe Like to Move It, Move Itβ, with a fantastic sporty βSparkly Starterβ today!
To celebrate the start of our journey into fitness and movement, we held our very own mini Olympic Games! From obstacle courses to ball games, throwing, and balancing challenges, our amazing Year 1 athletes got well and truly stuck in.
The energy was electric, the teamwork was inspiring, and there were smiles all around as we put our physical skills to the test. It was the perfect way to get our hearts racing and get excited for all the learning to come! π

Hedgehogs had a wonderful time at Upton Country Park! β¨
We used mirrors to look up and explore what was above us in the trees. We used the sides of our crayons to make bright, colourful bark rubbings. We also took part in a sound grab β closing our eyes and noticing five different sounds in the forest at Upton Country Park. ππ³

If you ask them about the different beach flags π© then they should be able to tell you what each flag means!
