Overcoming adversity to find passion and purpose in all aspects of life and career. At the age of 21, discontented with the ordinary life and wanting much more challenge and adventure, I joined Her Majesty's Royal Marines. After a couple of years honing my skills in Commando units, I decided to specialise and consequently became a specialist Communicator. This career involved multiple overseas dep
loyments to high risk hostile environments from Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and Northern Ireland. 16 years later after an extremely rewarding and proud career, I opted to pursue a completely different career and transitioned into the corporate world of Financial Services. I leveraged all my experiences to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver and implement transformational change on a global scale. Being a Marine was not always difficult and being a civilian is not always easy but the transition between the two are the toughest challenges I've ever faced. 'Battlefield to Banking' was a journey from one end of the spectrum to the other and so the crossing this enormous professional chasm required significant adaptability and determination. Whilst simultaneously transitioning into this vastly different career and new corporate culture, I also successfully completed a Master's in Business with the University of Exeter. I am now very keen to combine my military, corporate and academic experiences to provide best in class individual and business coaching. I have a passion for enabling others to realise and unlock their full potential, find passion and purpose and achieve peak performance in all aspects of their life.
