So much fun at forest school! 🤎🍁 Making soups, digging, climbing, balancing, rolling, squishing the playdough just simply exploring the wonderful world in which surrounds them💫

How lovely that our children get to explore so many wonderful places, enjoying hands-on learning surrounded by nature and friends. ✨

The children enjoyed sharing our story “Sawl Bwci Bo?” together and collecting leaves before having lots of fun creating spooky and friendly leaf monsters! 🍁👻 Using a variety of materials, they followed their own ideas and let their creativity shine. This week was all about exploring our senses 🍂🧡

Painting, squishing, squashing and getting messy with autumn colours and wonderful smelling spices. Developing fine motor skills, sparking curiosity and extending our vocabulary as the children explored, created and had fun together 🍁✨

The children enjoyed stories in the woods surrounded by nature, listening to the wind, hearing the crunch of the leaves beneath their feet and watching all the beautiful colours changing around them. 🍂🍁🌳

Little eyes full of awe and wonder as they used all their senses to explore, touch, listen and discover the changes autumn brings through real first-hand experiences, making sense of the wonderful world around them. There really is no better way to learn than being right there amongst it all. 🤎✨

Of course, we couldn’t leave all those beautiful autumn treasures behind! The children got busy collecting their own colourful leaves and natural resources before using them to create their wonderful nature fox masks just like Fletcher in the story🤎 🦊🍃🍂

The children were completely mesmerised from the minute we arrived! Mixing, pouring, digging, climbing, balancing and creating as they explored all the awe and wonder nature had to offer. 🌿🪵💦

This beautiful environment had no limitations, the children were simply free to explore, use their senses, follow their curiosity and let their imaginations run wild. All whilst naturally embedding those important little skills that build their confidence and independence, encourage problem solving, adapting, thinking, discovering and working things out for themselves as they discover the wonderful world which surrounds them. 🧡🍁✨🍂💫

Curiosity oozed out of every corner, creating messy hands, huge smiles and warm hearts.🧡
