It all began a few days ago in the garden, when our children started experimenting with chalk and water through their own free play ππ¦ Seeing their curiosity come alive, we followed their lead and extended their learning by joining our friends at Ffrindiau Marla in the woodsβ¦ and let the magic begin π³β¨
The children chose their chalks, learnt how to use tools safely as they hammered them into powder, mixed in water and let their creativity take the lead π¨π¨
They were so excited and engaged, mixing colours to create new ones, exploring different natural surfaces with their chalk paint and experimenting with how much chalk and water they needed to get that perfect consistency πβ¨ So much curiosity, creativity, and learning, all growing from something they had discovered through play themselves π
Such a beautiful example of how one little moment of child-led play can open so many doors for curious little minds πΏβ¨
