Recently our year 2 and 3 pupils were very privileged to take part in a careers event in the academy.

Our amazing parents, friends and family of staff, gave up their time to take part in the event and answered questions from our pupils.

It was fascinating to hear all about different jobs and our pupils were respectful and engaged in what the adults were telling them.

We learnt all about pumpkins and then every child planted their own and we took them home to look after them! 🧡

💜Last night, we were so privileged to speak to Ackworth parish assembly about our Outwood Out There initiative💜

Harper, Ted and Milo represented our academy and spoke confidently about the project and also their own plans for volunteering in the community.

Ava was also proud to receive the art work created by year 5 and 6 pupils with local artist Christine Burdin. Look out for it displayed in the academy!
