⏰ Telling the Time!

Today Alfie worked on telling the time. He had some good knowledge already but had forgotten a few of the basics, so we spent some time recapping and practising.

By the end of the session, his confidence was growing and he was remembering much more! 🌟💙

We had lots of fun creating artwork through colour matching, experimenting with shapes and exploring mark making. 💕

It may look like “just painting”, but mark making is a really important part of the EYFS. These early scribbles, lines and shapes are the first steps towards developing the skills needed for writing. ✏️✨

A huge well done to Olly! 👏📚

He has worked so hard to master his phonics, and it’s been amazing to see his confidence grow. He is now blending words confidently and really enjoying showing off what he knows! 🥰

In fact, he loves phonics so much that he now likes to test me on my phonics knowledge too! 😂🙈

It’s moments like this that make all the hard work so rewarding. 💙
