🐌 RELOCATING SNAILS 🐌
Please be aware that if you pick snails off the ground to move them to safer places, you could cause pain if it's not done properly.

Ripping them away from the ground can cause the mantle to collapse... which can be fatal.

Just tap on their shells to make them retract their bodies into their shells before you move them.

Please become a snail tapper. We so need these little guys to maintain the wildlife balance in our gardens.

So the wooden fence between the car park and forest school finally gave up today, its been there since before me and I've been there 18 years. The quote is really silly money to have it replaced.
Ideas please to keep my wildlings in. Bright blue rope ( lots of it to keep them safe) tempory stop gap.
To top that I fell over a piece of the fence I'd already moved moving another part. Landed on my bum onto the car park with a big group of our children walking past.
I did a dynamic risk assessment, HONESTLY.

A new water play resource, teaching the children it's OK to top the water up when it's running low. The only way to get water out is to use the tap. It's been a hit so far.
