STOP. SENDING. YOUR. KIDS. TO. SCHOOL. SICK.

If your child has a fever, is throwing up, coughing all over the room, or looks miserable KEEP THEM HOME.

School is not a doctor’s office. Teachers are not nurses. Other kids don’t deserve to catch whatever your kid brought in.

“It’s just a cold.”
“It’s allergies.”
“They seemed fine this morning.”

Cool. Now half the class is sick, teachers are wiped out, parents are missing work, and the cycle never ends.

Be considerate. Be responsible.
If they’re sick…they don’t need perfect attendance, they need rest...

Today I was a cheerleader for my own son who took part in his first marathon. Proud does not even come close to how I'm feeling today. This young man is my second born and I still don't know how I got so lucky. From the moment he was born he has brought me so much joy and he continues to bring joy to my life.
