We have had a great first half term term back. We have been exploring the season Winter and doing lots of activities linked to this. We are very much looking forward to the drier and warmer weather that hopefully Spring will bring!

We have had a lovely October. We have been on lots of lovely Autumnal walks noticing the changes that are happening around us. We have enjoyed exploring Halloween 🎃, we have been pumpkin picking and had a little Halloween party.

We've had a lovely start back to September, getting up to lots of adventures and settling in some new friends. We have also been exploring and learning about ourselves and our feelings. We've enjoyed reading the book 'The Colour Monster' and talking about how we feel.

Oops I'm a bit late with our July update. We enjoyed exploring under the sea theme in July, we looked at animals that live under the sea and enjoyed using them in our play as well as the pirates and mermaids that were very popular! We read lots of stories together and enjoyed making turtles using bubble wrap. We have done lots of mark making this month using lots of different media.
We have also enjoyed the first two weeks of the summer holidays visiting lots of our favourite places. I am now closed and will reopen on the 26th August. I hope all my families have a lovely summer together.

The children had lots of fun in June, we all loved watching our butterflies emerge from their chrysalis and then releasing them in the garden. Some of them even landed on the children's hands. We have been enjoying the hot weather and having lots of fun with water play!
We have also been doing lots of activities based around sea creatures.

May was a busy month! We've had lots of adeventures outside now the weather is warmer and we have also been looking at life cycles. We have been really excited to watch our caterpillars grow and they are currently all in their cocoons we are excited to see them emerge as butterflies!
We also had a busy half term last week and enjoyed trips to woodlands, Cotehele and Saltram.
