Jack and Jill’s Childcare
Jack and Jill’s Childcare are seeking to recruit a proactive, hands-on Preschool Manager with a strong knowledge of Ofsted guidelines and a genuine passion for early years education. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who thrives in a fun, nurturing childcare environment.
Hours: 32 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
This position requires the Manager to be included in staff ratios and to play an active role within the setting. The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification (Level 4 or 5 desirable)
• At least 2 years’ management experience in an under-5s childcare setting
• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted legislation and inspection processes
Experience Must Include
• Safeguarding (minimum Level 3)
• Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Early Years Grant funding applications
• Leading performance management, including staff supervision and appraisal
• Ofsted inspection preparation and compliance
• Experience using an online childcare management platform (e.g. Tapestry)
• Managing occupancy levels and staff ratios
• Acting as a Key Worker for a group of children
We are looking for someone who is organised, committed, and passionate about delivering high-quality early years provision while supporting and developing a dedicated staff team.

Requirements:
✅ Level 2 or above in Early Years Childcare
✅ Experience in a childcare provision
✅ First Aid qualification desirable
✅ Reliable, flexible, and positive attitude
