Although it sounds simple, using the right fretting technique will dramatically improve your playing.
Using just the right amount of pressure to get a clean note to ring without buzzing will give you more stamina.
Be careful not to accidentally pull or bend the strings while fretting. This can cause the note to go out of tune.
