Hello and welcome to the Instagram account for Billy Maguire’s Tutoring. I have made this account to become an extension of the support that I provide for my students through tutoring.

On this account you’ll find revision aids, resources and supporting materials to help you achieve a grade you feel happy with at the end of your exams. Most of this will be tailored to Maths and English work directly but there’ll be extra posts every now and then with further support in working around the subjects to develop a personal interest.

This account will be entirely student-led and focused on providing accessible support. With that in mind, if any students or parents have any topics they’d like covered across English and Maths please comment or message me directly.

I can’t wait to see this corner of Billy Maguire’s Tutoring grow over the next couple of months and am excited to help students in a more relaxed and unstructured method.

If anyone is looking for a tutor for english or maths, I teach virtually through Microsoft Teams. I am DBS checked, have school experience and five years of experience. Please message me directly if you’d like any further information on current availability or pricing.

Hi! My name is Billy. I am a current student at the University of Plymouth studying a MSC in Marketing and have recently completed a degree in English Literature.

I am currently offering tutoring for students starting in September 2026 for GCSE English, Maths and Business Studies.

My masters degree in marketing utilises modern day business knowledge and core maths skills to show the impact of business activities on their marketing strategies. This allows me to help students understand key business concepts by bringing theories to real world examples before building on exam technique.

I have over three years of tutoring experience, have an updated dbs check (supplied to parents) and school experience. All sessions are taught remotely through Microsoft Teams in one to one sessions that last an hour.

My main focus when tutoring is to ensure all sessions are “student led and accessible,” with every learners’ needs being met. Students learn the best when they feel comfortable and personal strengths and weaknesses are targeted through relaxed sessions that build on these areas through tailored personalised support. This increases confidence and boosts grades over time because skills are targeted individually, instead of all at once.

All work is provided to students after the session through email within 48 hours along with follow up areas for further work on a weekly basis if requested.

I currently have five spaces left with the majority on Fridays as detailed below for sessions from September 2026. All lessons start the week commencing September 7th unless otherwise requested and are billed monthly.

If anyone is interested in more information or would like to discuss tutoring in more depth, please contact me directly through Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp on 07496 445196.
